Rare Sense, a blockchain tech startup, raises $400,000

The Pakistan-based crypto startup, Rare Sense raised $400,000 in seed funding from US-based investors. The company’s current focus is non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) but is also working on Decentralized Finance (Defi) projects.

Recently founded by Hassan Baig, Fahad Rao, Sophia Pervez, and Shahbaz Ali Khan, Rare Sense is a crypto-tech startup that has developed products in the gaming space, social networking, and digital literacy.

It is reported that the CEO, Hassan Baig, had a one-on-one interaction with Mark Zuckerberg and was interviewed by CNN about his views on ‘The Next Billion’ users and digital literacy in South Asia’. Added to this, Sophia Perves has also been invited to Facebook’s F8 conference to share her views regarding UI/UX optimization for digital onboarding.

Hassan Baig, CEO of Rare Sense, stated, “Current focus is NFTs, but we have a keen eye on the DeFi space as well. If these domains impassion you, their tokenomics inspire you, and you possess serious technical chops, we are happy to talk to you”. Rare Sense is highly critical regarding its choice of employees and is looking for top-qualified talented tech experts to help it fulfill its mission.
