NIC Lahore brings Stanford’s Spark program to Pakistan

National Incubation Center Lahore (NIC), which is located at LUMS, recently announced a collaboration with Stanford university to bring its Spark program to Pakistan for entrepreneurs.

The Spark program is offered by Stanford SEED which is under their Graduate School of Business. The duration of the program is four months, over the course of which early stage entrepreneurs will be provided with the resources needed to build their strategy, develop their network and expand their business, through networking opportunities, one on one mentorship, and live sessions with experts who can give valuable insights about the business landscape, all of which will be facilitated by an action oriented curriculum.

Saleem Ahmad, the chairman of NIC Lahore, said regarding the collaboration, “for Pakistan to realize its youth dividend, we must upskill to the highest global standards. Our youth has abundant potential and just need our help in empowering them with skills, access, and inspiration. This is exactly what we aim for at NIC LUMS and our collaboration with Stanford is yet another way in which we’re realizing our mission and enabling world-class resources for our aspiring entrepreneurs.”

The Stanford SEED Spark program, in collaboration with NIC Lahore, will commence on September 7, 2021.
