MedIQ raises $1.8 million in Pre-seed funding

MedIQ, a health-tech startup founded by Dr. Saira Siddique, has successfully raised $1.8 million in its pre-seed funding. The company intends to use the funds to invest in its technological infrastructures, such as AI and machine learning tools, to expand its services across 20 cities in Pakistan.

Currently, MedIQ is playing a significant role in redefining digital healthcare in Pakistan. It has transformed the quality and quantity of healthcare services for patients. It provides patients with an integrated digital platform to easily access healthcare facilities such as physicians, specialists across 32 specialties, nursing staff, and dedicated home care teams. The electronic medical record system helps share and analyze patient records to provide patients with the best solutions.

MedIQ has entered the industry just at the right time. Today, the waiting time in hospitals in Pakistan is approximately 90 minutes for a consultation that lasts only 2.5-5 minutes, so MedIQ has stepped in to provide individuals with quality healthcare from the comfort of their homes.

We truly appreciate their efforts & wish team MedIQ the very best for their future endeavors to improve the health care system in Pakistan!
